Please note: The breakfast menu may change on 2-hour delay days. Since there may be less time between breakfast and lunch on a delay, we encourage families to check their student’s lunch time and decide whether breakfast is a good option that morning.

The Madison Bus assignment cards have been mailed today. Please expect them by the end of the week. If you have not received one by Monday, please call the Bus Garage at 419-589-3473.
Note to open-enrolled parents: Transportation is not assigned for your student until after the first month of school.

Cafeteria Substitutes Needed!
We're looking for people interested in serving as a cafeteria substitute when needed. The position pays $13.00 per hour and is typically about 4 hours per shift.
The job involves:
• Some lifting
• Food preparation
• Serving meals
• Washing dishes
• Cleaning the kitchen
Please note that kitchen temperatures can vary from very hot to quite cold, and the work is physically demanding. It also requires an out-of-pocket payment of approximately $70 for a background check.

Due to today's delay, the senior citizen luncheon has been rescheduled for next Thursday, February 26, 2026.
Madison Local Schools will be on a 2 HOUR DELAY today, Thursday February 19, 2026.
There will be no morning preschool.

As a result of moving to elementary grade level buildings next year, and a significant number of our elementary teachers changing buildings, the Board of Education has approved my recommendation to modify this year's school calendar so that our teachers will have appropriate time to pack up their rooms as the district prepares for the major move this summer.
The modification of the calendar will result in the elementary students ending their school year on Friday, May 22nd, as their last day of school. The modification is pending the completion of instructional hours as required by state law.
