Parents/Guardians,

As a result of moving to elementary grade level buildings next year, and a significant number of our elementary teachers changing buildings, the Board of Education has approved my recommendation to modify this year's school calendar so that our teachers will have appropriate time to pack up their rooms as the district prepares for the major move this summer.

The modification of the calendar will result in the elementary students ending their school year on Friday, May 22nd, as their last day of school. The modification is pending the completion of instructional hours as required by state law.

Some important updates for Madison South:
1) 1st Grade Concert will now be tomorrow, December 12th, at 10am. Doors will open under the awning near the gym at 9:45.
2) Slushie Day for K, 3rd, and 4th grade will be tomorrow, December 12th
3) Students who were supposed to buy at Santa Shop today, will now shop tomorrow, December 12th as well as anyone who may have missed their day earlier this week
